The Valley Kids Staff works hard to stay posted on the most up-to-date
teaching methods. We are constantly changing our curriculum but maintain
basic methods that we believe nurture children’s learning. Our methods
are exemplified in the activities we do with the kids.
Our activities are in the fields of:
- Outdoor play - Sense activities (sight, feel)
We like kids to learn by doing things themselves. We provide an endless amount of enthusiasm as well as tools to explore with. Our daycare is filled with toys, games, musical instruments, books and computers.
Each day, you will receive an evaluation of your child, you are kept up to date on how and what they did that day, how much they ate, and what their mood was like. Also, often your child will receive a “home version” of a story or song we talked about during the day, so that you can repeat it with them at home.
We deliver 4 to 6 children in the morning to King and Case Schools.
We pick up approx. 13 children from these schools at the end of the school day.
Woodridge busses drop children off at Valley Kids each day from 3 of their schools.
